With Epiphany in the rear-view mirror and Lent coming to us in 7 weeks, we are going to look at a few lesser know personalities in the Bible until we begin our Lent observance in late February.

This week will look at the life of Josiah.  King Josiah.  You may have heard of King Josiah, but what about the different personalities that interacted with King Josiah.  It is a really interesting story.

This story can be found in 2 Kings 22-23 and 2 Chronicles 34-35.

If you have some time this week, read the account of King Josiah.

Look for the details that maybe you forgot or overlooked in your past readings.

In this story you read about a young king, a prophetess, and an Egyptian Pharaoh.  There is a lot of action, intrigue, and suspense packed in these two chapters.

What does this almost 3,000 year old story mean to us?

What applies to our lives, our relationships, our journey?

I am not sure if this is a happy story or a tragic story… but maybe that is the most relatable part… don’t we all have positive parts to our story and other times when we wish for a redo?

Let’s talk about it on Sunday.
