Christmas is upon us!

How has this season of Advent been for you?

We had a theme of; Restoration is near.  There were two scriptures that guided us on this Advent journey…

Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved.  Psalm 80:3

Strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.  James 5:8

We were encouraged to watch, to prepare, to tell, and to not be afraid.

And now it is time to sing for joy!

What brings you joy?  How do you celebrate the joyous times in life?

Is singing a part of your joyful response?

I remember when one of my children would count the number of songs we would be singing during church to determine if it was a good service.  The less songs the better in his opinion, I mean in their opinion.

I am not much of a singer, maybe that is because I am not a good singer.  But there is something about worshipping in song.  There is something about worshipping in song with other people.  It does our soul good.

So please come join us on Sunday morning as we worship together because God is worthy of our praise.

Bring your singing voice regardless of your ability, it is a sweet sound when we worship the Lord in song.

Merry Christmas… Celebrate Emmanuel… God with us.
