This Sunday we are starting a new series on Worship.  To kick off our series on worship, we are excited to have the Shippensburg choir share with us on Sunday.

In this upcoming series on Worship, I hope to explore what it means to worship.

What is your definition of worship?

What is the purpose of worship?

In what ways do we worship?

How do you worship besides singing?

Do you worship privately?

How does private worship feel different than corporate worship?

As you think about worship this week, may the words of Paul in Romans 12:1-2 guide your thoughts…

 Romans 12:1-2                             Christian Standard Bible

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

WOW… there is so much good, good stuff in these verses!

As a reminder, we will be having a fellowship meal this Sunday and we have invited the Shippensburg choir students to stay and fellowship with us.  There are forty choir members, so please bring extra food so we can feed all those hungry college students.  I have been made aware of a serious nut allergy by some of the choir members, so please, no nuts in any of the dishes this Sunday.  Thanks for your generosity in bringing extra food and for your kindness in not bringing any nuts to church this Sunday.

Let’s talk, worship, and eat on Sunday.
