As we approach the third week of Advent, it has been an unconventional Advent season so far. The scriptures we have been looking at this Advent season are not your typical Advent passages and this Sunday we will be celebrating Christmas at Marion a full ten days early.
I mean who doesn’t like an early Christmas!
This Sunday will be a special Sunday for sure, the children will be singing, there will be an adult choir, and a Christmas drama.
As we think about Christmas, I invite you to think about the following passages…

Joshua 2:1-22
Matthew 14:13-21
Acts 9:1-22
How do these stories relate to the Christmas story?
When you read the Bible, how often are you surprised about how God does things?
Are you surprised on how God works now?
Are you surprised on how God works in your life?
