This Sunday, as we continue in our Lent Series; Christ Collides, we will be looking at how Christ collides with our blinders.  We have a variety of stories that are all connected by not seeing.

Luke 18:31- 19:10

I invite you to dwell in this passage this week.  Allow these stories to collide into you and how it helps or impacts the way you see.

If I have counted correctly, for the sixth time, Jesus had taken his disciples aside to discuss what is coming.  Jesus couldn’t have been any plainer. The disciples couldn’t have been any more confused.

Then there is a blind man that was able to recognize Jesus as the long-awaited heir of David.  This blind man asks for his sight and is not only given his sight, but also salvation.

The third story, perhaps the most famous is a story of a short chief tax collector who climbs a tree to better see Jesus.  His life is forever changed.

This Sunday we will do our best to allow the Spirit to collide into us.  The space will feel different, there will be no projection, so bring a Bible, and you will be invited to share how this passage has collided into you, or what is happening on your Lent journey, or how the Spirit is moving in your life.

What patterns, rhythms, and routines might the Spirit be trying to shale up a bit in your life?

If the Spirit is trying to do something different in our life, would we “see” it?

Each week I invite you to “talk about it on Sunday”.  This Sunday we want to hear from you.  We are a deeper and richer church family when we share our stories, our experiences, our lives with each other.

Which story of not seeing can you most relate?

What in our life are we blind?

What are we willing to risk to see?

Let’s talk about it on Sunday.
