This Sunday as we continue our series… Experience Worship, we will be looking at Worship through Singing.  While this may seem to be the most obvious form of worship perhaps there are a few insights that we can check out this week.

This Sunday Monarch’s Way will be with us to share about their ministry.

Worship through music is a gateway to intimacy with God. As we lift our voices, something shifts within us. It invites us to turn worry into peace, trade our fear into a deeper faith.

Songs rooted in Scripture help us memorize God’s Word and meditate on it. Over time, the truth we sing shapes our thoughts, choices, and character. Worship in song can quickly become a form of spiritual formation.

Worship in song is not passive; it has the power to transform us.  When worship in song is a regular part of our lifestyle, it becomes easier to recognize that God is greater than our circumstances.

The invitation for us this week is to engage in worship in song not just on Sundays, but as a daily lifestyle. Let worship be your first act in the morning.  You can turn on worship music during your commute, sing praises in the shower, and let your heart remain in tune with God throughout the day.

Did you know that the Bible contains over fifty direct commands for us to sing?

Researchers state that there are also over four hundred indirect references to singing.

Did you know that two of the four gospels record Jesus singing with the disciples?

The prophet Zephaniah writes that God rejoices over us with singing.

The writer of Hebrews writes that Jesus will sing our praise.

Let’s talk about it on Sunday.
